The Stars Are Out

The crews of Shoot the Stars have sprung into action. With star actors Richmond Arquette (Se7en and Fight Club) and Jordana Spiro (The Mob Doctor and Trespass) arriving on the SFUAD campus this weekend, the production crews of Mister Stapleton and Dead Celebrity have been working around the clock casting, scheduling, camera testing and the works.

On Nov. 12, the crew of Dead Celebrity filmed scenes from “Lone Wolf,” the fictional TV series that plays a key role in the story of Dead Celebrity, but now the crew is gearing up for the week of Nov. 18, when they start four days of filming Arquette and Spiro. For the first two days, the student crew and their mentors shoot Mister Stapleton, a four-person cast, in Garson Studios and in the exterior of the Santa Fe Art Institute. Dead Celebrity is scheduled to shoot at the end of the week, also in the Garson studios.

Ready, set, shoot!
