The three films, which will show at The Screen, are: Max Dangerous, by Zach Moore and directed by Brett Shapiro; Mister Stapleton, written by Baxter Smith and directed by Joshua T. James; and Dead Celebrity with Zoe Dahmen’s screenplay and Seth Fuller’s direction are the three movies that will be presented, along with some extras such as “Behind the Scenes” and a surprise footage called “Who Would You Bring Back.”

“What the process is all about is exposing the students to professional level filmmaking,” Film School faculty member Terry Borst says. “That’s the ultimate goal.”

With more than 100 students working on the projects, the complete experience has proven to be helpful for students in all different arenas. “Not only do we have those taking care of the movie, we also have students creating promotional material, post production, editing, sound design and they are all learning how this business works,” Borst says.

While the Oscar night event is invitation-only,  the movies will be available later for all the campus to watch.
