Stand Down 2014

On Oct. 24-25, Santa Fe University of Art and Design opened its doors to homeless and veterans at risk in Alumni Hall, where an annual two day Stand Down was held by the Santa Fe Veterans Center in cooperation with Adventist Community Services. According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, roughly 250 people—approximately 160 of whom were veterans—to take advantage of the services including employment counseling, medical check-ups, hair cuts and other services.
