Dogs on Campus

On Dec. 7, Assistance Dogs of the West brought four new and very welcomed visitors onto Santa Fe University of Art and Design’s campus. When students entered the Driscoll Fitness Center, they were encouraged to take a seat and wait for a dog to introduce itself to them. This event was an effort to relieve the stress that builds up before finals and was fantastically received. Assistance Dogs brought a mom and three of her puppies, all more than a year old. The latter three are currently being trained either to work with children who have witnessed crimes or people living with MS.
