On a windy Thursday afternoon, Jackalope Magazine interviewed Sarah Carelas, a Studio Arts senior, as she worked alongside her friend Hannah Gardner on her project for Outdoor Vision Fest. For this project, Carelas will film herself digging the hole out, and then filling the whole back up again. Afterward, she will edit the video and play it on a TV monitor for the festival. “Its exhausting but therapeutic,” Carelas says. “I wish the area was easier to dig.” Although recent wet weather has made it slightly easier to dig, that has also meant more mud.
