Santa Fe Hysterical Historical Parade

Hundreds gathered this past weekend for the annual Hysterical Historical parade during the last day of Fiestas, Sept. 10. With over 100 floats ranging from high school sports teams, charities and politicians. It was a spectacle to see the community come together and celebrate the city together as the Parade Started on Guadalupe street and made its way to the downtown plaza. The Parade originally started in the early 1920’s  as the people participating in the parade dressed in elaborate costumes, performed skits along the route with poking fun at of Santa Fe culture. Although the parade has transformed into a modern day parade but still has the charm that embodies Santa Fe.
