Leo Martinez is one of the security officers that keeps Santa Fe University of Art and Design safe. Martinez is from Chama, NM and has a degree in accounting from New Mexico State University. He decided that after a few years in accounting that numbers were not for him. He was accepted into the New Mexico State Police force and made an amazing career for himself. Martinez was an investigator who worked in numerous units within the force and retired with the hard earned rank of captain. While serving the state of New Mexico, Martinez was blessed with three boys who are now a lawyer, graphic designer and an engineer. When SFUAD closes its doors in 2018, Martinez will not continue with security. He wants to move to California and enjoy his days traveling the planet and partaking in the pleasures it supplies.
