Date Auction
This Feb. 9, a new version of the Date Auction organized by the Student Ambassadors was held in the cafeteria, where 16 students presented themselves to be auctioned for a date. The event was received with great success by the campus.
The attendants paid fake money for their favorites, and the auction winner was offered a restaurant or cinema ticket to go on a date with the person they just bought.
“This is my third time that I auctioned myself and I had a great time again,” Austin Ross, RA for Kennedy A, says. “At first I was nervous because changed my mind about the song I chose, but after going up to the stage I started to get more confidence and started taking my shirt off. People laughed, I laughed it was great. Everybody was having a great time and in the end, I’m going on a date with my best friend at Outback Steakhouse. Free date, I love it.”
