Midterm Madness
Posted by Christopher Stahelin in Students
We’re officially half way through the semester her at SFUAD, so Jackalope decided to speak with a variety of students to see how everyone is holding up. Between papers, projects, shoots and shows, everyone is occupied with the things they love to do.
“I’m enjoying it a lot, the semester started off slow, but now it’s moving because we’ve got shows going on. I love it and I love the people I’ve met here.”
—Sicily Ranieri, freshman, theater major
“It’s been fun. I’ve been enjoying the campus and the life here, I feel that the music program could be a little more accelerated.”
-Jackson Anderson, freshman, contemporary music major
“Writing papers always gets me stressed out. As far as the semester, it’s been really good, a lot better than last year. We had a new technical director last year that didn’t work out. Now we’ve got a new head chair and technical director, they both have restructured things and how we’re performing in the space. I’m enjoying it a lot more this year.”
—Chelsea Kuehnel, senior, technical theater design major
“I’m super happy, I’ve really enjoyed it and I’m super happy to be graduating. I’m just trying to enjoy my last semester here at SFUAD.”
—Sandra Schönenstein, senior, graphic design major
“This semester has been the hardest that I’ve had. I’m so busy every single day, I can’t afford to miss a single class. It’s been so busy, but not busy in the bad way, just busy.”
—Cindy Serigatto, senior, film major
“It’s kind of weird because I’m trying to switch into a self made major. So it’s been confusing but not that bad.”
—Rollo Duglas, sophomore, contemporary music major
“It’s been a really good semester so far because I try to learn something new every day. Being an exchange student, a lot of us miss things from home, but we don’t have a way to it right now, so I just try to enjoy it.”
—Sabas Mendivil, an exchange student studying film
