Various members from the community of Santa Fe spend their evening at the Fine Arts Gallery to witness the union of many artists’ work. “The Map is Not the Territory’ Parallel Paths: Palestinians, Native Americans, Irish” is a traveling collection of art that tackles the important topic of invasion. Curated by Jnnifer Heath and Dagmar Painter, the show looks at the connecting experiences Palestinians, Native Americans, and Irish natives have endured as foreigners attempt to usurp their land. The work will be on display through Oct. 15, and is part of the college’s Artists for Positive Social Change series.
