Exam Week Coffin

During the hustle and bustle of midterms week at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, Travis Dale was sanding his coffin when I walked into the barracks. The blood red plastic curtains allowed for just enough light to watch Dale’s shadow. The class project guidelines were to make an object that interacts with the human body, “I didn’t mean for it to be creepy,” Dale said, but “it’s that time of year” and he felt inspired.
