On Oct. 21, the Santa Fe University of Art and Design Chorus, directed by Steve Paxton, performed in a concert with the California Redwood Chorale, directed by Robert Hazelrigg. The concert took place in the San Miguel Mission, and many members of the Santa Fe community—not just those associated with the university—attended. The room was packed to enjoy voices of students as well as an out-of-state chorale who had never before performed in Santa Fe. The SFUAD Chorus opened the concert with a couple of pieces by themselves, then joined in with the California Redwood Chorale for a collaborative piece at the end.
