Shaping clay
Studio arts sophomore Elisis Miller begins work on a final project for her Studio Arts class final. She has until the end of the semester to make 100 unique bowls. Miller feels as though “shaping clay is like shaping yourself from the inside out while pulling yourself into the bowl.” Along the way, she has discovered that each bowl creates a unique sound during its creation.
