Record Time
This week, Jackalope Magazine interviews Rose Hutson, a Creative Writing and Literature junior, as she works on a personal writing project that focuses on a young girl and her life experiences. At the end of the day, Hutson likes to go into the music library and listen to old records as she works. Some of Hutson’s favorite albums include Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra’s Romantic songs from the early years, and Brandi Carlile’s Bear Creek. A majority of the music Hutson listens to is old country music, but she also enjoys exploring different genres of music and feels as though “just are there are good artists, there are bad artists.”
