365 Everyday Project
Senior Graphic Design major Rufino Medrano has been interested in graphic design since he was 13 years old. Now his expertise extends beyond just graphic design, as he also is working with 3D software creating daily renderings. Since Jan. 1, 2017, Medrano has made 272 daily renderings, varying from abstract lines and shapes to cars and interior designs. Each day is different from the last. “The whole point of this project is learning how the world works and creating something out of nothing using lighting, coding and textures,” Medrano says. “Finding time and dealing with classes are the hardest part. I usually have to plan ahead if I know I’m going to be busy.” Medrano plans on continuing this project until Jan 1, 2018., then plans on focusing on weekly larger projects rather than smaller daily projects. The project is available online through Instagram.
