Staff: Amanda Vanlandingham

If you are among the 162 remaining students at SFUAD, then you have had the pleasure of meeting Amanda Vanlandingham. She is the current academic advisor and is a part of student life. She hails from Hobbs, New Mexico and has a master’s degree in counseling from Southwestern College. Vanlandingham enjoys working with the elderly due to their wisdom and the ability to learn from their life experiences. Working with elderly people has allowed her to gain an understanding of death and an ability to enjoy life. When SFUAD closes, Vanlandingham is considering moving to Colorado and perhaps returning to work in a counselor position for the elderly.
