Student Spotlight: Ricky Sweeting

Senior photography major Ricky Sweeting comes to Santa Fe University of Art and Design from El Paso, Texas. His family and friends recommended SFUAD because of its digital arts program and also because of the proximity to home. Sweeting became interested in the arts at a young age. In middle school, he began his artistic journey with regular art classes, and then in high school he concentrated more on videos and then photography. After graduation, Sweeting wants to take some time to build his portfolio and submit to galleries. Additionally, he is interested in working in commercial video. Eventually he may look to moving with friends to Los Angeles, CA.
