Student Spotlight: Lexi Rose Malone

Alexandra Rose Malone—aka Lexi—is a senior photography major concentrating in commercial photography. From Albuquerque, N.M., Malone’s artistic talent began at a small private school for graphic design. Deciding to return to school, Malone researched and fell in love with Santa Fe University of Art and Design after learning of friends and colleagues who also chose SFUAD, as well as the school’s close proximity to home. After graduation in Spring 2018, Malone plans to “get away as soon as she can.” The Seattle/Portland areas are her first choice because, in addition to loving the rain, Malone currently works at Starbucks, which is headquartered in Seattle; she feels her dream job would be to move up in the company and work in marketing, advertising, design and photography.
