Leah Naxon BFA Exhibition
Leah Naxon creates textile works that focus on process, weight, and tension. Her deconstruction of the braid shifts attention from the product to the experience. The length of the soft columns magnifies their disentangled forms and builds connections to the figure.
The opening reception for Naxon’s BFA exhibition, “Secured,” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., March 29 in the Southwest Annex Fine Arts Gallery on the SFUAD campus. The exhibition will run through April 7, 2018 and is free and open to the public.
