As the 2016 presidential election nears, so does New Mexico’s voter registration deadline of Oct. 11. In response, Jade Gordon and Ellyn Derman are even more motivated to get everyone they can to vote. As Santa Fe residents, they say feel a certain responsibility to encourage young voters to register so they set up a booth on campus over the weekend during the City Different Festival.
