Students Talk Through Spray Paint

Students all over the Santa Fe University of Art and Design are turning to spray paint as a social format to communicate about issues occurring within the community and the world. With slang quotes including, “That’s Life” and “Get Dirty,” others are taking their voices to a larger level. By taking up full walls to express singular ideas, to quick stencils and promoting one’s own art brand, one will always have a cause to promote and share with the artist community. The results end up in overlapping murals and reactions to the pieces already completed.
