Bryson Hatfield shares his experience with Starbucks. Photo by: Hawie Reyne Veniegas
Bryson Hatfield, a senior acting major, is one of the many students at Santa Fe University of Art and Design who works at the popular coffee chain, Starbucks.“You get that kind of real sense,” Hatfield says. “A whole human connection with the people you work with at Starbucks.” Hatfield works evening shifts most of the week. “I’m still getting a great paycheck, but sure, you’re tired in the evening.” Despite the long, physically taxing hours at work, he still manages to balance other responsibilities. “[Working at Starbucks] gives me a lot of time to focus on school and things I want to do, such as writing.”
