Free Freezie Fresh

On Thursday, April 13, Freezie Fresh (a local frozen-to-order ice cream cart run by alumnus Xzavian Coobey) visited SFUAD campus from 1 to 5 p.m. to treat the students with free ice cream. The Quad was lined with eager students who waited in line for several hours just to get their hands on the homemade ice cream. Katie Stawick, a senior photography major who will be graduating this May, said she waited in line for two hours for her treat. When asked how it was, she stated “Delicious! I think the ice cream helps with the self esteem of the school right now, especially after hearing the bad news yesterday. And also, free ice cream!”
