On Nov. 9, Santa Fe University of Art and Design senior photography major Richard Sweeting spent time in the studio with SFUAD Film School alumnus Kelvin DuVal creating images for his upcoming music album cover. DuVal was dressed in an Asian-style costume with a Japanese motif similar to his music style. Sweeting is good friends with DuVal and created the concept to help him gain more experience, as he is still new to photographing in the studio “Every studio session is different,” Sweeting says, “but it’s fun working with friends in a controlled environment. I overcome new challenges with lighting every time I enter the photography studio.”
