A Red-eared Slider, known generally as a pond turtle, has taken up residence in the campus pond outside Fogelson Library. This little turtle has been topic of some conversations on campus due to its quick get aways when students have tried to photograph it.

In the weeks of midterms and spring break, spray painted messages appeared around campus. The first “You’re paying too much money” appeared March 10 near the welcome center was gone by the next morning. The second “What is art? Now, what is art school” appeared during spring break and as of this story were still up by Tishman Hall.

Hannah Marcotte installs her piece “Synecdoche of a dress” for the student juried show at Wade Wilson, which opened Feb, 19 and runs through March 11. “Synecdoche” means a part representing a whole. “Synecdoche of a dress,” As Marcotte explained, is about 5-foot-by-5-foot piece she made by taking micro photos of a dress she owns and painting each photo on to 1-foot-by-1-foot boards that make up the whole piece....
