A Quiet Week

A recent visit to the Fogelson Library revealed a quiet place, where more students working than searching for books. Osho Levin, a junior film student, was one of the few students actually in the library. “I have only ever pulled a book off the shelf at the library once or twice; the only reason why I come here is a place to work on homework in between class,” Osho says. He really enjoys the peace and quiet it helps him focus and complete his homework.

This semester has brought big changes to both the Graphic Design and Digital Art departments at SFUAD. The departmental changes include new leadership and full-time faculty members, but perhaps the biggest change of all is the movement of the Graphic Design and Digital Art programs from Alexis Hall to upstairs in Fogelson library.
New SFUAD Writing Center

SFUAD’s new Writing Center opens on Sept. 21. The space will be shared by Hideki Nakazono’s tutoring staff and the Creative Writing program. The Writing Center will act as a space for Creative Writing students to get away from distractions elsewhere on campus.
