Mariah Romero and Darnell Thomas, founders and chief editors of 1905 magazine, are designing their first ever all male-focused edition of their publication. Also a first is the style profile on their old Graphic Design Chairman David Grey. Grey explained his personal aesthetic and where his inspiration for color combinations and new looks comes from. Romero and Thomas hope to do more style profiles in future issues.

The Graphic Design BFA Thesis show was unveiled at Critical Space on Dec. 14. Showcasing the work of four graduating seniors, the exhibition documented the students’ task of creating a brand for four separate fictitious companies. In the gallery, viewers can see how Candice Bobchak, Brandon Schmidt, Lindsey Harder and Joshua Geduld each used their own styles and artistic vision to reflect the goals of their respective organizations.
