Spring Awakening was poignant in its use of dance. Uniquely within this staging, Assistant Chair and Director of Dance Shannon Elliot, along with faculty member Jonathan Guise, dance on the side-extensions of the set, enhancing the meaning of multiple songs.

For the next two weekends, the dramatic story of Spring Awakening will grace the Greer Garson Theatre stage. Director Gail Springer has led a cast of more than 20 through months of rehearsals, which will soon culminate in five performances.
