The Baca Street District

Located at the center of Santa Fe lies the Baca Street Arts community. It wasn’t until this year that the location received a plaque designating it as its own district within the Santa Fe Railyard. The weekend of Dec. 6-9 was the 13th Annual Baca Street Arts Tour, and kicked off with an opening event from 5-9 pm. Participating shops offered an assortment of food along with raffles and discounted items. When Baca Street isn’t hosting its art walk, the artists of the shops and galleries are available all year long. If you ever find yourself with some free time and are looking to dabble in the arts, Elodie Holmes has a one-day paperweight class and Baca Street Pottery rents out long-term studio space and access to its massive gas kiln.
