Zappa Plays Zappa

Dweezil Zappa, son of the legendary Frank Zappa, performed at the Greer Garson Theatre Feb. 12 in front of a sold-out crowd.

“Zappa Plays Zappa” is an homage to his dad’s work, which mixes the original lyrics of the rocker with a more modern approach, while also trying to replicate one of the signatures of Frank’s shows: his solos.

Dweezil Zappa is an accomplished musician who in 2006 started to perform the homage to his father, who passed away on 1993.
